The Unfathomable Riches of Christ

  1. RICHES of This Present World  (1 Tim. 6:17)

  4. Dangerous  (1 Tim. 6:9-10)

The root of SIN is the failure to give __________ to God for Who He is and What He has given us! (Rom. 1:21-25)

Meditate upon the Giving Nature of God:

  • Psalm 84:11
  • James 1:17

Ask God to enable you to be a worthy recipient of His gifts by “walking uprightly.”  Thank Him for His incredibly generous nature.

Tuesday, April 26th

Meditate upon the Gift of Life:

  • Acts 17:25

Think about the blessing of being created in God’s image.  How do we bear His likeness? Do not take life for granted—share with one person how thankful you are for them.

Wednesday, April 27th

Meditate upon the Gift of God’s Love:

  • 1 John 4:7-8, 16-19
  • John 3:16; Romans 5:6-8

Do you know that you are loved?  Thank God for His unconditional love & acceptance of you.  Choose one person to intentionally love today.

Thursday, April 28th

Meditate upon the Riches of Christ:

  • Romans 8:32
  • 2 Cor. 8:9

Spend some time thanking God that Jesus Christ who is “more than enough for you.”

Friday, April 29th

Meditate upon the Riches of God’s Grace:

  • Ephesians 1:7-8; 2:7; 3:8

Why is God’s grace so “amazing?”  Why will it take the “ages to come” for God to show us the “surpassing riches” of His grace?

Saturday/Sunday, April 30-May 1

Meditate upon the Riches of Glory:

  • Col. 1:27; Eph. 1:18; Rom. 9:23

Ponder the meaning of “glory.”  Make Eph. 1:18 your prayer to God for “enlightenment.”
