Sundays at Grace

Church can be an intimidating place to visit – especially if you don’t know what to expect! We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally during our Sunday morning services. You can engage with others and find places for your whole family to connect. We pray that through visiting with us, you will experience the love, hope and joy that flows through a community of flawed yet forgiven people whom Jesus is making new!

Service Format

Our services are typically about 90 minutes in length & involve:

Singing: We praise God and encourage one another with songs that highlight the glory of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ. We’re more concerned with lyrical substance than musical style, but we seek to incorporate various musical styles as a reflection of our diversity.

Scripture Reading: We need God’s Word like we need food and drink. So we value the public reading of scripture every week.

Corporate Prayer: We proclaim our dependence on God, seek His will for ourselves and our world, and ask Him for His provision.

Preaching: Our elders will preach the unchanging truths of Scripture and seek to apply the gospel to the core concerns of our lives. We typically teach through whole Bible books in an expository way.

Ordinances: We remember and celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus in tangible ways, through baptism and communion. We gather around the Lord’s Table on the first Sunday of each month.

Giving: We’ll give as a response to God’s grace to extend the church’s ministry to our church family, neighborhood, city, and world.

What Should I Wear?

We have a diverse congregation that is comfortable wearing everything from shorts and flip flops, to casual wear or suits and ties. There is no “dress code” at our church – please wear whatever you are comfortable wearing in a public setting. We firmly believe that worship is less about appearance and more about hearts captivated by Christ!

Do My Children Sit With Me?

We celebrate the sights and sounds of little ones and believe that passing the gospel to the next generation happens best in the context of community! You are welcome to have your children worship with you during our morning service or you may take advantage of one of our age-appropriate nurseries for newborns through kids age 5. We also stream our service live to the Garden (our children’s area located in the center of our church) if you would like to join your child(ren) in that area.

Will I be Asked to Give Money?

As our guest, we ask that you would not feel obligated to give but that you would receive the gift of salvation through Jesus! Our offering is an opportunity for those who call Grace Church home to worship by supporting the advance of the Kingdom through our financial gifts. This joyful response is the natural overflow of those who have experienced the radical generosity of God in freely giving us life, unique talents, financial provision and (ultimately) salvation in Jesus Christ!

What is the Overall Environment Like?

Grace is a multigenerational and multicultural family. Our aim is to be a people of grace by name and practice. That is, we seek to extend the love, grace and hospitality that we experience in Christ to everyone God brings our way. We want you to know that your family is always welcome here!
