Matthew 25:31-46

“The coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah…” Jesus  (Mt. 24:37)                      

 

I.  The Courtroom of the KING   (25:31-33) 

“When the Son of Man comes in His Glory…” 

The Olivet Discourse (Mt. 24-25) progresses toward a climactic _____________.  cf.  24:39-41,51; 25:12,30

II. The Criterion of the KING    (25:34-46)

“The SHEEP”

The sheep’s entrance into the Kingdom is based upon their deeds of ________ & compassion toward the needy.

i.e. hungry, thirsty, stranger, naked, sick, prisoner

Their deeds are the fruit of their saving ________.

    “The GOATS”

    The sin of the goats for which they are eternally condemned is that of _____________ toward struggling believers.

Bottomline:  Their contempt for ________ is evidenced in their treatment of His people!   i.e.  “brothers of Mine”

Practical Application:  

  1. Our Alienation
  2. Our Compassion

       Appointments with God
