Mark 7:24-37

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”   Mk. 10:45

I.  The GENTILE Woman   (7:24-30)

Jesus again tries to ___________ by Himself to get time

alone with His disciples. (v. 24) cf.  Mt. 15:21; Mk. 6:45-6

This is the only recorded instance of Jesus ministering

_________ of Palestine.  i.e.  Tyre & Sidon(Mt. 11:21-22)

Of the 35 recorded miracles in the Gospels, ___ directly

involved women.   cf. Mk. 1:30-31; Lk. 7:11-17; Jn. 11

Matthew tells us that this Gentile woman, who had a demon-

possessed daughter, was a ____________. (v. 26)

Jesus boldly says that the “bread” is for “the children”

Her response about “the dogs” even getting the crumbs

II.  The HANDICAPPED Man  (7:31-37)

NOTE – Jesus put His fingers into his ears & touched

The words “deep sigh”(v. 34) are the same word trans-
