L oving One Another   (Jn. 13:34-35)

Meditate upon the Threats of the Last Days:

  • Matthew 24:4-14

Do you see “signs” of the End Times?  Which ones are most evident?  Which ones are more subtle? Pray for discernment & that your love will not grow cold.

Tuesday, September 21st

Meditate upon our Need for Assembling Together:

  • Hebrews 10:23-25

Notice how important encouragement is as “the day is drawing near.”   Pray for one believer you know who has been “forsaking the assembling together” and contact them so as to love & encourage them.

Wednesday, September 22nd

Meditate upon the Essence of God’s Love:

  • 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Which characteristic of love do you most need in your life today?  Pray that God would give you more of the fruit of Love (Gal. 5:22-23).

Thursday, September 23rd

Meditate upon the Deception in the Last Days:

  • 2 Thessalonians 2:7-10

Note the words “all the deception”(v. 10).  Pray for a greater “love of the Truth” among God’s people so that the church is able to recognize deception.

Friday, September 24th

Meditate upon our Handling of God’s Word:

  • 2 Timothy 2:15; Titus 1:9

Do you know what AWANA stands for?  How is it related to this verse?  Pray for yourself and the pastors & elders of God’s Church to handle the Truth Accurately & to exhort in sound doctrine!!

Saturday/Sunday, Sept. 25-26

Meditate upon the Urgency of the Hour:

  • 2 Timothy 2:1-5

Do you think “the time” has come when people no longer endure “sound doctrine?”  How do you know?  Pray for boldness & courage to declare God’s Truth even when people don’t want to hear.
